City Provides Free Homecoming Program for Jakartans

This program can only be participated by Jakartans who have KTP or family card (KK) of DKI Jakarta and live in Jakarta
This year, Jakarta Provincial Government to provide free homecoming program by facilitating free-ride transport for 16,578 homecomers including trucks to transport 7,020 motorcycles for homecomers who use motorcycle for their trip.
"This program can only be participated by Jakartans who have KTP or family card (KK) of DKI Jakarta and live in Jakarta," explained Acting Jakarta Transportation Department (Dishub) Head, Sigit Wijatmoko, Monday (4/29).

Jakartans who are interested to join this program can register online via https://mudikgratis.jakarta.go.id which is opened from April 28, 2019. After registering, registrants will get booking code that should be verified no more than 5 days in order to get electronic ticket.
Verification can be done at Dishub Office and Transportation Sub-department Offices in five regions.
"Registrants who plan to use motorcycle for homecoming trip should bring along their KTP, family card (KK) and vehicle registration certificate (STNK) in verification process," he added.
He mentioned, there are 10 city destinations in this free homecoming program. Those are Ciamis, Kuningan, Tegal, Pekalongan, Semarang, Kebumen, Solo, Wonogiri, Yogyakarta, and Jombang.
"All verified homecomers will be departed from Monas on May 30 and return to Jakarta on June 8 at 7 AM. Bus terminals in those 10 cities will facilitate them for the return trip. Bus will transport them to Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal, Kampung Rambutan Terminal, and Pulo Gadung Terminal," he explained.
Therefore, to minimize traffic accident for motorcycle users, he gives alternative for homecomers who ride motorcycles to also join this program.
"We will facilitate both the person and motorcycle. We provide buses to transport the homecomers and trucks to transport their motorcycles," he conveyed.
